2. How To Set-Up An Android Smartwatch?


1. If you are on an Android device, you will first need to download the Android Wear app on your phone and then turn on your Smartwatch. If you dont have a button that is on the side of your watch then just place it in the charging port while the power is connected. Also dont forget to turn on your Bluetooth on your smartphone.

2. Your watch will then ask you for your language preference and then will show you a prompt to start the Android Wear app.


3. The next step is to pair the two devices. Simply tap through all the prompts on your Android Smartphone until you reach a selection screen. Tap your device in the bluetooth device list that has the same code shown on your Smartwatch.


4. Confirm everything left through your Android device. For a lot of people, the watch will start to update its software.


5. Depending on your settings, the watch may want you to enable notifications. If this happens just tap through the prompts and check the notifications box.


6. If you don't have Google Now enabled, the Android Wear app will prompt you to enable it. If you're a Google Apps user, you may find that you don't have access to Google Now. Not to worry: simply log in to Google with your personal Google account, or toggle to your personal account. Once Google Now is enabled on your phone, it will work on your smartwatch.


7. By the time all of this is done, your Smartwatch should be done updating its software. Even though all watches are different, you will still run through an Android Wear tutorial that explains how to use your new Smartwatch.


3. How To Set-Up An Apple Watch?


1. First, turn on your Apple Watch and put it on: To turn on your watch, just push and hold the button on the side until you see the Apple logo pop up. This may take a few minutes.


2. Hold your Apple Watch close to your iPhone: Wait for the “Use your iPhone to set up this Apple Watch” message to appear on your iPhone. Then tap Continue, if you can't see this message, open the Watch app on your iPhone, tap All Watches, then tap Pair New Watch.


3. Hold your iPhone over the animation on your Smartwatch: Once you do this, you want to wait until you see a message that says your Apple Watch has been paired. If you cant use the camera or you dont see the animation then you can choose to pair your watch manually.


4. Set-up or Restore from a backup: If this is your first Apple Watch, then you can tap Set-Up new watch or Restore. Please note that your watch may need to update its software before you can set it up.


5. Sign in with your Apple ID: If asked, enter your Apple ID password. If you aren't asked, you can sign in later from the Apple Watch app: tap General > Apple ID, then sign in. Certain features that require a mobile phone number won't work on cellular models of Apple Watch unless you sign in to iCloud.


6. Choose your settings: Your Apple Watch will tell you which settings it shares with your iPhone. If you have turned on features such as Find My, Location Services, Wi-Fi Calling and Diagnostics for your iPhone, these settings will be automatically on your Apple Watch.


7. Create a passcode: You can skip this process for now, but you will need to set-up a passcode to use Apple Pay. On your iPhone, tap Create a Passcode or Add a Long Passcode, then switch to your Apple Watch to enter your new code. To skip, tap Don't Add Passcode.


8. Choose Features and Apps: Next, you will be asked to set-up Apple Pay by adding a card. Then you will be walked through setting up features such as automatic watchOS updates SOS, and Activity.


9. Wait for your devices to sync: If you have a lot of data, this may take some time. In the meantime though, you can check out Apple Watch Basics to learn more about your new Apple Watch.


4. Change Time and Date On Wear OS Smartwatch

  1. If the screen is dim, tap it to wake up the watch.

  2. Swipe down from the top of the screen.

  3. Tap Settings .

    • If you don't find it right away, swipe left.

4. Tap System Date & time Choose your time settings.


Change which times show

  • To show the same time on your watch and phone:

    1. Turn on Automatic date & time.


  • To show the local time:

    1. Turn off Automatic date & time.

    2. Turn on Automatic time zone.


  • To set the time manually:

    1. Turn off Automatic date & time and Automatic time zone.

    2. Set the date, time, or time zone

Change The Time Format

  1. If the screen is dim, tap it to wake up the watch.

  2. Swipe down from the top of the screen.

  3. Tap Settings .

    • If you don't find it right away, swipe left.

4.Tap System Date & time.

5. Scroll down and turn on Use 24-hour format.
